WHAT’S HAPPENIN’ at VALLEY SQUARES

Valley Squares is proud to announce our new caller Chuck Garner. Chuck began his first club calling night November 20, 2010. What a great night, lots of fun

dancing with 43 guests in attendance. We are going to have a swingin’ good time with Chuck.

Our next dance, December 4, 2010 will be "Baby, It’s Cold Outside". Our dance schedule will be 7-8 pm Mainstream Workshop, 8-10 pm Mainstream dance, and Rounds for both time frames. We will serve Hot Buttered Rum (without the rum) drinks at 10 pm break along with our pot luck. Come join in.

Girls Night Out (Sandy Harris, Jackie Gale, Nadya King and Charlotte Jeskey) will be calling and cueing our December 18, 2010 "Boogie, Woogie Christmas Train" Christmas Dance. Dance schedule will go back to 7:30 pm Pre-Rounds, 8-10 pm Mainstream with Rounds. We will be serving Hot Egg Nog (non-alcoholic) at our break at 10 pm with pot luck. Mmmm, tastes good already.

January 1, 2011, we will be DARK. Hope you enjoy the TVC dance December 31, 2010.

Now, our big announcement: Friday, April 8, 2011, Valley Squares 62nd Anniversary Dance with special caller Mike Sikorsky calling and Connie Clark cueing.The schedules will be; 7-8 pm Plus with Phase III Rounds, 8-10 pm Mainstream with Rounds, open break 8-9:30 pm.

Tickets will be available to dancers outside our club at our December 18, 2010 dance. We will visit TVC clubs during January 2011 to sell tickets, then (if any are left) we will open up sales to other dancers. The response has been enormous so if you want to be assured a ticket, come to our December 18 dance. Entrance will be by ticket only, $10 each. We are only selling 160 tickets, we don’t want to overcrowd the Hall, we want everyone to have a chance to dance.

Our classes will begin January 4, 2011. January 4, 11 and 18 classes will be free. Thereafter we will charge $5 per adult, $3 per youth (10 to 18). we will close enrollment after January 18. Know anyone who wants to learn, sign them up. Our Applications are below, print it out and bring it with you. Class times are 7-9 pm with break at 8 pm.
